SOS Schools in Africa: Country List

In Africa, SOS Children operates 108 SOS Schools, 129 SOS Nurseries and 23 SOS Training Centres.

SOS Schools are split between Primary and Secondary Schools. Often, these schools are vital to the education of the local community in which they serve. Nurseries often complement the schools, providing education from a young age. SOS Training Centres are also common in Africa. These specialise in different areas, from technical skills to agricultural skills. In Ghana, SOS Children runs an International College, where intelligent children from around Africa get advanced education and the chance to gain qualifications to study at universities around Africa and the rest of the world.
