Henry Fonda (Grand Island, Nebraska, 16 de maig de 1905 - Los Angeles, 12 d'agost de 1982) Actor de cinema i teatre nord-americà.
Fill de William Brace Fonda i de Herberta Krueger Jaynes. Henry Fonda va participar en unes 90 pel·lícules. Va aconseguir un Oscar com millor actor al final de la seva carrera pel seu paper en On Golden Pond el 1981, pocs mesos abans de morir a conseqüència d'un càncer i d'una malaltia de cor al seu domicili de Los Àngeles, acompanyat per la seva dona Shirlee i la seva filla Jane, que també havia participat en la seva última pel·lícula.
També el seu fill Peter és actor. Henry Fonda va estar casat quatre vegades: amb Margaret Brooke Sullavan (1931-1932), Frances Ford Seymour (1936-1950), Susan Blanchard (1950-1956), Afdera Franchetti (1957-1961) i Shirlee Mae Adams (1965-1982)
