[edita] Set diagrams and four dimensional structure
The fifteen syllogisms valid in modern logic, represented in the diagrams below, correspond with a four element sets non empty subsets. Is anyone able to explain this curious matter?
Apart from this four dimensional structure, the fifteen diagrams make syllogisms more easy to understand, and could be integrated in the article. Red indicates, that one or more elements exist in this area, black indicates, that an area ist empty. White areas might contain elements or not, and are thus of no importance.
The Venn diagrams are useful to visualise the syllogism itself, and are easily transformed into diagrams visualising just its conclusion. This transformation is shown in the left image below. Greetings...
