  1. Condenser coil (hot side heat exchanger)
  2. Expansion valve (gas expands, cools and liquifies)
  3. Evaporator coil (cold side heat exchanger)
  4. Compressor
  5. black = Gas at high pressure and temperature
  6. black = Gas at high pressure and reduced temperature
  7. black = Liquid at low pressure and greatly reduced temperature
  8. black = Gas at low pressure and warmer temperature
