SOS Children : Project Work
We have a vast number of projects across the world. Here is a sample of the project work we do:
We have 192 schools, some summaries on projects for Street Children projects, and projects in Africa for AIDS orphans and Child Soldiers. Outside Africa, we also work with children affected by conflict in Palestine.
Further projects include:
- Construction of a new SOS Children's Village, Nursery School and Medical Centre in Chipata, eastern Zambia
- SOS Children's Village and School, Basse, The Gambia
- SOS Family Strengthening Programme (outreach programme) in Waterfalls, Harare, Zimbabwe
- SOS Children's Village Francistown, Botswana
- SOS Children's Village Rafah, Gaza Strip, Palestine (how the children are coping following the January 2009 conflict)
- Our SOS Children's Village in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia
- Our SOS Children's Village in Plagiari (Thessaloniki), Greece
