SOS Children's Village Oberá
The SOS Children's Village of Oberá is situated on the outskirts of the city the same name, and is about 1,200 km from Buenos Aires near border with Paraguay. The region is quite mountainous with a subtropical climate. In addition, to the eleven family houses, which provide accommodation for a total of 108 children, the SOS Children's Village Oberá includes a village director's house, a house for the SOS aunts (SOS Children's Village mothers in training, who assist current SOS mothers in their everyday work, and stand in for them in case of illness or holidays), an administration building with offices, a sports hall, and a small crop and stock farming business.

Up to 180 children from the SOS Children's Village and the neighbourhood can be supervised in the SOS Nursery School which was opened in 1992. The SOS Nursery School is part of the Children’s Village's infrastructure, and contains three classrooms for nursery and pre-school education.
The SOS School, which also opened in 1992, incorporates a primary school for up to 631 children, as well as a secondary school with a vocational branch, that offers education to another 151 youngsters. Like the SOS Nursery School, the SOS School is also open to the public, and is very popular amongst children and parents of the neighbourhood. The school has 15 classrooms, a science lab, an art room, workshops for electronics, joinery and sewing, computer labs, a kitchen, a dining room, and a small bakery that gives free bread to locals in need. Evenings are used for adult-education courses.
There is an SOS Youth Home in the province capital of Posadas, that offers accommodation and guidance towards an independent life for up to nine SOS Children's Village adolescents during their higher education.
