SOS Children's Village Draria

SOS Children's Village Draria is a short drive south-west of Algiers in the district of Tipaza.

It has a house for the village director, an administration area, a multi-purpose hall (for various village events) as well as a house for the SOS aunts (SOS mothers in training who actively support the SOS mothers).

When the Children's Village was opened in 1992, an nursery was also created for to enable preschool children from the Village and beyond the enjoy education and play together.

An SOS Youth Home encourages young people to become independent and to make it easier for them to be integrated into society and the working world. It was opened in 1998 and makes it possible for the young people to prepare for an independent life under the guidance of educators.
