English: This is a low resolution image of an Oil Painting

The work was commissioned by the en:Irish Shipping from the marine artist Kenneth King After the demise of Irish Shipping, the en:Maritime Institute of Ireland purchased it at auction. The painting can be seen in the en:National Maritime Museum of Ireland. Des Brannigan, while president of the MII had this painting scanned for a commemorative brochure (this image is from that scan rather than directly from the painting)
