English: Photo of six different types of Koi.
  • This photograph depicts six koi (plus one goldfish) of a collection of ten living in a private outdoor ornamental freshwater pond in San Jose, California. The pond is about 45 cm (18 in) deep, which is shallower than ideal - it was not originally designed for koi. The largest fish seen is the yellow ogon at about 50 cm (20 in) long; it was four years old at the time of the photo.

  • shusui (blue with red streaks)
  • a goldfish (the small red and white fish)
  • diamond platinum ogon (white)
  • ogon (yellow)
  • kohaku (red on white)
  • bekko (black on white)
  • asagi(?) (silvery black on white)
