Summary
Description |
Richeliu Apartments after Hurricane Camille. The site was the location of the often-publicized (though false) story of the "hurricane party" in which 30 out of 32 people having the party allegedly died here. The Richeliu Apartments were subsequently found to be poorly constructed, though it probably wouldn't have mattered, as 20 to 25 feet of storm surge devastated the area. |
