Summary

Description The YE+1 section of CMS, weighing 1,270 tonnes was lowered on the 9th of January as planned. As well as the steel of the magnet return yoke, this disk comprises two stations of the forward RPCs (RE1 and RE2), CSC station 1 and the forward Hadron calorimeter. The forward Electromagnetic calorimeter (including the Preshower) will be mounted in front of the HCAL in the future.
