A U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4B Phantom II (BuNo 150479) from Fighter Squadron VF-151 "Vigilantes" intercepting a Soviet Tu-95 Bear D aircraft in the early 1970s. The Phantom is armed with AIM-9D Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow missiles. VF-151 was part of Attack Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5) and stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CVA-41).
