One would expect that if oldid (A) <= oldid (B) then timestamp (A) would be also
<= timestamp (B).

It seams that this is *not* the case.

How to deal with this? Should the revisions be sorted by oldid or by timestamp?
Wiki's created after a certain date should not be afected.

I do not know if this relates also to:

bug 1915: Edit link URL gets "oldid" from page URL instead of actual id, where
page URL has "oldid" and "direction" values (

This behaviour relates both to "diff=prev&oldid=" *and* to "direction=prev&oldid=".

It seams that action=history is ordered by *timestamps*. You will find
