Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2007-11-23 20:59:28 UTC
Dear friends,

the url from above does neither contain *%20* (spaces) nor *_* nor *%5E* (underscores)

the url contains %C2%A0 == Unicode Character 'NO-BREAK SPACE' - U+00A0

The question is if such titles are realy necessary or not and if they are *not* if such url's should default (via title standardization) to the same titles as if underscores / spaces would have been used.

Another question is if a "standardization" can be implemented at a "higher level" via parameter setup as in LocalSettings.php.

As far as I know the Mediawiki foundation projects disallow / block some general punctuation characters via
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:%24wgLegalTitleChars .

The required enhancement should provide similar support.
